Butterflies of various colours and sizes can land either on a bush or a boy's head (or a girl's head as a separate activity) which means that language skills relating to colours, size and concepts of time and space can be learnt and practised. A duplicate set of the materials allows extension of skills such as attention, listening, receptive and expressive language.
